Your WRC hive needs to be untreated, assembled is ok if all straight. My hoop pine is assembled, unused and painted with water based outside furniture Cabots paint.
My pine flow hive is flawless and looks very nice, but I realized it doesn’t fit my boutique style model apiary. It’s just a growing idea.
