Accidently spilled mineral oil into hive!

So the SHB mineral oil trap was propolized on the queen excluder and i didn’t realize which in turn led me to pour about half the contents of the mineral oil onto one side of the frame/box effectively killing bees it touched. Probably about 100 or so bees. The queen was on one of these frames but she was unaffected by the initial spill. Can the bees clean up this mess or will it continue to affect all bees that go to that area?? Worried the hive now has a death zone and that the queen will eventually work her way to that edge.

Going by what you describe, I would be inclined to clean it up as best as I can myself.
