Almost Spring and small hive is weak and I am worried

I can remember seeing purple paddocks for miles around Cootamundra in the 90’s. Very pretty but as you say a curse for cattle.

For a few months down that way the paddocks are purple, the bee keepers are dancing and the cattlemen do their annual crying sessions having no feed for the stock except Patterson’s Curse, all the vets are rubbing their hands together.

It is amazing that something so valuable to bees can kill cattle and horses.
