I set out a few swarm traps in November (Australia, spring) and one of them caught a swarm within a few weeks. The trap was fitted with top bars, so it was a simple matter of transferring the bars from the trap to the hive. A few weeks later they have settled in and drawing a new bar of comb each week. ---
