Hey brains trust. What’s the best way for the bees 
to clean up flow frames. Frames in open or closed position. Many thanks in advance
Closed position. Then they can pull off any broken bits of wax in the cells too and make sure everything is ready for reuse.
Definitely in the closed position for the same reason as @Dawn_SD has said. I drain my frames over night into a bee proof honey pail and in the morning close the frames and disconnect the drain tubes. That way I have recovered as much honey as possible and the bees can get to work cleaning up the stickies and repairing the cells straight away.
