The bees are all over the super, but there is no honey. We have 2 hives, one super has 1 frame with partially capped honey but the rest is empty. Any tips, suggestions or reasons why?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

First of all there needs to be sufficient field bees in the hives to take advantage of any honey flow that might be in your area.

Secondly there needs to be a decent honey flow, in order for your colonies to store excess honey, apart from what they consume day by day in keeping the colonies running.

You/we must always be aware of the colonies needs during lean times. Therefore we must be prepared to feed the bees when necessary.
