I think that would be fine for the hive, I just don’t know if it would fully deter robbing bees. I would be extremely curious to hear your results though.
Sorry for the delay. My mother died today and as she is 6,000 miles away, I may not be on the forum much for a while. Need to get things organized for her, as my father died some years ago.
Really sorry to hear of your loss Dawn, catch up when your back on the forum and you be kind to yourself. We all have things we didn’t say or the time to do what we should have done.

Thank you. I was in contact with my Mum almost daily, and visited her 3 times within the last year, so I think that I tried hard. There will still be things that I could have improved upon. Such is life. I appreciate everyone’s support.
