Has anyone seen this behavior before? The bees formed a line on the outside wall of the hive and were pulling and tugging on one another with their legs. I watched them do this until finally some on the bottom let go and broke the chain.

I have seen them do it inside the hive, just not outside.
It was a 1st for me, but i am also new to this. I thought it may be morning yoga and my aunt thought it could be a game of Red Rover.
Hiya smithfam, I posted the below pic earlier this year.
It seemed odd to me also, I think the general consensus was line dancing.
