Bottom board and brood box

Hi, after a long wait I finally got my flow hive. Very excited
this is my second year of beekeeping, and I have 2 regular hives. I t looks like the bottom board and the brood box are not attached to each other, am I right?

Yes, the bottom board of Langstroth hives is not attached to the brood box. The Flow hive is a Langstroth variant, so the bottom board is not attached.

here’s one of my SBB I am preparing for the 3 new hives I am starting sometime mid April if weather n shipping hold true.
