Could it be bearding?

Bearding in coolish weather but only on my Flow Hive?

We have been enjoying (or not enjoying) cool rainy weather here in the Shenandoah Valley in May. My Flow Hive is sitting on top of my most healthy active hive and it is the only one where the bees are bearding. I am using top entrance. I have six Flow Frames in a from the factory 8 frame size box. Does the Flow Hive warm up faster? Is it just about high humidity? It almost looks like they are gearing up to swarm but everything I read says it is bearding. Help

Swarming or bearding

I am at work and my wife sent me this picture. Anyone want to guess if this is swarming or bearding? [image] I requeened this hive a week and a half ago. Prior queen was a strong layer but was switching to vsh strain of bee. Have not looked in bottom box for 2 weeks but top box had room last week. I can’t look in until I get home from work. Joe
