I’m a new beekeeper and have a question regarding drones.
I made a split back in July, confirmed last week that the queen made it back from mating flight and was laying eggs.
Today I noticed little pollen going into the hive with the new queen compared to other hive (only have two hives) and a lot of drones going into the hive as well.
Any idea why that would be?
I appreciate any feedback on thisthis
Thanks,
Mike

The drones are probably being kicked out of their home hive and looking for somewhere to go.
