Hello and welcome to the Flow forum! 😊

I used some flexible tubing, but you now have to buy a minimum of 100 feet of this stuff:

Here it is connected to a Flow frame and 64 fl oz mason jar:

There are a lot more photos and ideas in that thread too. Might be worth a read 😉

I bought some heavy plastic tubing.

I prefer to use pvc. I place an elastic band on the flow tube than put a 19mm elbow on and cut a piece of pvc pipe the right length.

Thank Adam for your post. What are the sizes of the pipe pieces. 3/4 are too big at the curve.

That is what the band is for?

I bet the band is a sort of make-shift o-ring, to give a good fit between the 2 tubes without gluing 😊

You are both all over it. It stops the 19mm 3/4” elbow from slipping off the end of the flow tube

If you have connected the honey tube to a container, ensure that air can escape from the container. In your efforts to make it bee-proof, don’t make it air-tight, otherwise the honey can back up in the tube and spill over the edges of the trough inside the hive.

I use clear elbows I get from eBay. They fit a little loosely , and those that don’t get some epoxy. Works a treat. 25mm works well.

Using a standard 19mm PVC elbow and a simple elastic band perfectly solves the frustration of directing honey flow into those large 5-gallon containers!
