New beekeeping ordinance passed in a community near me

I haven’t followed this & only read this article so far, but it sounds like the beek let a swarm or two go this past June…there aren’t any ordinances in my town, yet! just the annual state registry.

There’s a funny typo that I HOPE is a typo - or maybe I’m ignorant, can anyone tell me why stored beer warrants official inspection?? :flushed::beer::beer::beer::beer::eyes:

Maybe the ordinance is to stop some beekeepers from going way overboard in the number of hives they have in the one apiary.
Seems to be that the inspector may insist on taste testing the beer being stored for quality control.:tired_face::thinking::beer:
