I live in Memphis and we have had weeks of 95-100 degrees outside. The honey boxes are empty on several hives (I have 7 flow hives.). How can I help the bees?
Do everything you can to help the bees to keep their hives cool is important. Make sure they have easy access to water. Make sure they have enough food to keep themselves going during a honey dearth.
If there is a honey dearth in the area, there’s not much we can do, except migrate the bees to somewhere where there is a honey flow. In the meantime we have to make sure the bees don’t starve to death.
