Well I just saw the same or similar “insect” buzz by my hives. It made a really deep buzzing noise but didn’t land, possibly because I was there. Beginning to think it is a hornet of some kind but with a roundish body. Very yellow and brown??? But only because it buzzed me. Still need to identify ---
