I’ve wanted to be a beekeeper for a while, so when a class became available nearby I signed up and jumped in. I have one 10 frame apimaye hive, purchased a nuc, which was installed Thursday 5/21, five frames. I’m a little (a lot) nervous and am so thankful for this forum and The beekeeping community at large. Right now I have one brood box, feeding syrup. I inspected today, the ladies are starting to build out the 5 combs beyond the ones they rode in on.
