Mar 2024 - A decent amount of bees landed on my compost bin and are going in and out,making circles in the air before going out and leaving. Just wondering if I should wait before trying to trap the swarm or should I check and see how the bees are doing.
Welcome to the forum! If you are sure there is a swarm inside your compost bin and not just a lot of visiting bees (interested in the âflavorfulâ moisture inside perhaps) then I would see about getting them relocated ASAP. If your bin has a good-sized opening this wonât be very hard. Can you take a look inside the bin and post some pics for us? That way youâll get the best advice for how to proceed.
