They swarm the back of the hive while harvesting–they think I’m Ukranian 
. I don’t mind suiting up, but thousand drowned in the jars while ruining several quarts of honey. This happened immediately after honey started flowing. Years ago I saw some jar lid adaptors with curved tubes for sale but don’t see them now. Anyone know about this?
I switched to Russians because they survive mites and cold weather a lot better.
