Carting brood for a bee trap-out

Hi John, that’s the ones that I make. The only challenge is stopping them from finding other exits/entries.

It’s also more challenging, I found extracting a fresh swarm. Once you lock them out, instead of the bees going straight to the brood, they go to all of the spots that the scouts checked out beforehand. The scouts must leave small traces of pheromones wherever they look, gap or no gap. Mostly no gaps. I think it’s much easier once those pheromones wear off.

BIG tip here with the silicone. Use black. Translucent silicone still lets light through and the bees can push their way through tge smallest gap.
