Hello. I have been the owner of the flow hive for the third year now. I must admit that it is an amazing bee house. A clever bunch of inventors. The cleanest way to extract honey. I have never extracted honey without a protective suit before. Now it is fun. What I noticed is that every spring my bees swarm. And it is only because the lower part of the brood hive is simply small. European size “B” frames would be ideal. Thank you
Hi Brannko, do you manage to catch those swarms? There has been a lot of discussion on this forum on the subject of preemptive swarm control splits which is really worthwhile looking into if you want to hang onto those precious bees & hopefully reap a larger honey crop.
