Flow Honey Arc and Robbing Supers

I started with a Brood Box/Excluder/Flow super and the bees were leaving space in the Flow super for brood(Honey Arc). I decided to put a fully capped medium honey super in between the Brood and Flow Super so they could use that for the Honey Arc but they still didn’t the fill the Flow super Honey Arc. In addition to this I put a regular honey super on top of the Flow super and that is now full.

My current setup is:

Brood box > Excluder > Medium Super(capped) > Flow Hive(full except Honey Arc) > Medium Super (Full uncapped)

It’s way larger than I wanted it to be and I don’t want to extract by spinning. I’m thinking to put an inner cover over the Flow Super and putting the Medium Honey supers above. Will they rob out these frames and fill the Flow Super? The idea is to let them move the honey from regular supers into the Flow super for extraction. Like this…

Brood box > Excluder > Flow Hive(full except Honey Arc) > Inner Cover > empty Medium Super > Medium Super (Full uncapped) > Medium Super(capped)

Hello and welcome to the Flow forum!

You could also try moving the frames around in the Flow super to break up the arc. Put the frames with most honey in the middle and the ones with the biggest arcs at the outside edges. Sometimes that is enough of a message to the bees to get them to tidy up properly.
