Artificial swarm technique

It achieves the same result except you have to move more frames your way. This system can only be used if the colony is showing signs of swarming, i.e. there are queen cells with larvae in them. I quickly found this one…she is talking of culling emergency queen cells from what I can see (point 8).

And a bit more here…Dee meant to say “thin” not 'this". This is one reason why I was surprised with your swarms @JeffH as you wouldn’t have had too many flying bees.

Should I just let my swarm go?

It is said over and over again that bees won’t swarm on emergency cells in a split but they do if the split is full of flying bees. They won’t if no flyers. I always this queen cells
