Honey looks unusual

My honey from my flow hive looks like there is something in it, I don’t think it’s crystallising as I’ve stood the bottle in warm water and there is no change. Any ideas ?

The only thing I can think of is that the honey is crystallizing. It generally clouds over like that when it starts to crystallize. Was it like that when it came out of the hive? Does it pass the smell & taste test? Not to mention the water content, not that that would make any difference.

I can’t think of anything else that would cause honey to go like that. It’s not a bad thing, as you probably already know, when honey crystallizes. You may need to make the water a bit hotter & leave it in a bit longer. I warm water to about 50C, & hold that temp for an hour or two, depending on the size of the container the honey is in. If a 15 kg bucket is crystallizing, I will sit it in water at that temp overnight. A 1 or 2 kilo jar might only need a couple of hours.

Thanks, honey tastes fine and is 15%. So maybe just starting to crystallise.
