I am so pleased - my 3 queenless-because-of-me colonies raised emergency queens and 2 of those queens are now on the job laying eggs!

well done! I really enjoy your videos- and as for the queens- you know how the song goes: “Two out of three ain’t bad”. 
Edit 3 hours later: two minutes after I wrote that I logged onto the Guardian and saw that Meat Loaf had just collapsed on stage… Synchronicity.

Thank you, I’m pleased as can be. There are 3 beeks within 2 miles of me so I had a high level of confidence that the queens would find a drone congregation area.
I’ve decided that the remaining queenless split will go on top of my recovered swarm this weekend if there are no eggs by Sunday
