I am in Hobart Tasmania. My first hive started in August I added a second brood box in December full and capped today so added the super without the queen excluder. Should I add the excluder???
I would add a QE. That way you know that the queen wont be likely to get rolled as you pull Flow frames out to inspect before harvest. You wouldn’t want the queen to lay eggs in the Flow frames either.

I would. Nothing worse than brood in your honey frames, even with the queen moved below it can encourage laying workers.
My friend has spent a full season just trying to get his flow frames cleaned up after forgetting to put his QE on.
