Hey John, I think the question you asked was very well answered so I didn’t see a reason for me to add to it.
There is no benefit in adding a second flow super, once the frames (one or the lot) are capped they can be drainer and is ready for the bee to use to refill it with honey.

Hi John,
You can add a Flow Super on top of an existing Flow Super. You just need to make sure there is a good flow on so the bees don’t have too much empty space at one time to keep warm/cool (depending on climate). You would also need to make sure your colony is really strong in the bottom brood box.

If they are not capped and you think that they are running out of space, I would consider another super on top.
