After a very successful year of honey making and being a furniture maker I have constructed 2 new Super boxes that hold 3 flow frames each. I split the Super to make 2 hives. They now sit atop 2 brood boxes ie double the workers. I harvest these new supers every 4 weeks at the moment.

Do you have only 3 Flow Frames in the top Super or do you also have some standard frames beside them as well?
No, just the three flow frames. I did this because I saw that the bees did not work on filling all the super frames in a normal 6 frame super at once but filled the middle ones first then moved outwards.
