I am just posting on behalf of a customer to see if there is any specific advice for cold winters in Armidale.
Is packing down the hive necessary, or do the need more honey stores? It often drops below freezing at night with frosts.
If anyone has experience in this area or similar locaton it would be lovely to pass information on.

) but I do have cold winters and my thought is that there’s a ton of info here on wintering you could glean some pertinent bits from for this customer.
Definitely, I have put forward some specifics already, but it is nice to build the community and sometimes there are some really unique consideration. Thank you Eva
