How interesting.
I wonder how long these little bees will survive to reproduce with a pollen diet of a single source? Or will these farmers just buy in cocoons every year…like the growers of indoor soft fruits already do with Bumblebees?

Very interesting, but I think the title is slightly misleading?
It seems to be more about the difference in pollinators at different times of the year, and the benefit of them working together, because they fly at different heights etc, to pollinate more efficiently than just one type of pollinator.
