I was out watching the beehive entrance today and saw a worker discard a larva. Upon close examination, there was no sign of varroa mites. My last check a month ago showed less than 1% infestation. I haven’t treated.
Also, what are all those flies/fleas/chiggers on the landing board?

P.S. It’s hot and dry out and there’s considerable smoke from a nearby forest fire. Still plenty of foraging going on, though.
Using what method? It matters. 
Whatever those little things are on the baseboard- it looks like the bees don’t like them and are chasing them around.
