Bees love brassica flowers in the garden

We’re still waiting for our nucs but in the meantime some neighbouring bees showed up and are busy on the flowers from my bolted Chinese cabbage greens. They’re so easy to grow in the heat so maybe it helps in dearth times.

Good to know. Some of our local Community Gardeners left their broccoli to flower for our bees in the early spring in southern California - the bees loved it! Another brassica, of course  So bees say, “Let us eat your broccoli!!”

Dawn,

Love those broccoli flowers n green each next Spring … Kales great too. These early Spring greens are sooooo tender n tasty ! Yummy !
