Brood Frames wired

Hi , I’m just about to receive my 1st hive and wondering if the Brood frames you receive are wired? Thanks

Hi. All up to personal choice. But wired brood frames allow you to tilt the frame a bit more to get the sun hitting so you can see eggs.
If unwired, just ensure the comb is attached to the sides and bottom of frame, before tilting, if fresh.

Hi #Brooke-Pitt I have just finished building my very first flow hive, and the brood frames are in parts, as is the whole flow hive (flat packed). Not too hard to put together, even this 65yr old has done a fairly good job of putting it together.
