I have the flow hives in my garage, and I am scraping the propolis off the frames. How important will that be for next season?
I think it’s good you’re doing it. A little propolis might not be a problem, but a moderate to large amount will interfere with opening the frames when you harvest.

Propolis in the hive is good for colony health with anti microbial, antibacterial properties and more. You only need to scrape enough that it doesn’t interfere with removing the frames.
