It’s getting cooler here in Southern Aust. and Im thinking of reducing the boxes on my hives. On my Flow Hive, the flow frames are not capped although there appears to be plenty of nectar in each of them. I would like to harvest this honey if possible but know I should wait until the frames are capped.
Has anyone any suggestions as to what to do about this as the season gets cooler? I’m planning to move my flow hive some distance away and want to prepare for this. I currently have two brood boxes, a QX, with six flow frames on top.
