I used MAQS to treat my 6 hives last week as I found 15 mites in a sugar roll test. I was shocked to see how many mites fell through to the bottom board.

Just interested…when was your last treatment?
This is my first year, and that particular hive was started from a NUC on June 9th. They even had a queenless period for a couple weeks, before I found out and introduced a new one from my queen castle.
Given that level of mites, I’ll probably test them again in the spring to decide if I need a spring treatment as well.
