First Swarm - Advice Please!

I finally pulled this video from a nearby security camera. It shows the swarm leaving from start to finish. Crazy how fast they leave… the bulk of activity is only 5 minutes.

I thought I’d share this with everyone that posted and helped me with this swarm. It’s almost like a glittering tornado of bees. And please excuse my presence in the vid. :melting_face:

My hive is still alive, (though with a different queen) and doing well. Thank you all.

Hi! This is very late, but if you ever have issues stimulating comb building in a new brood box, I like to move one of the full brood frames to the new brood box and an empty one back down. This forces the bees to be up there often.
