If you put a Flow Frame in the bottom brood box - the queen might lay in the Flow Frames.
You don’t really want eggs and babies in the Flow Frames
Dear All
Still no progress as bees are only in brood box, not moving to Flow hive. Kindly advise
Looking forward for your kind response.

So we are on the way
Dear all,
As per your advice and discussion with our team, we have moved the frames and bees to a better nectar place. Kindly have a look at below video and guide us for any of our short comings as we are trying our best.
Also have a look at pictures now hopefully we have done some improvements.
Now we are waiting for bees to fill flow frames with honey.
Looking forward for your kind suggestions.
Stay blessed

To get the bees to use the Flow Hive frames for the first time is just a waiting period. The bees need to have to find extra space as they would by instinct use wax foundation frames first. Once they do move up into the Flow frames and it has the scent of the bees they will accept it as just another place to store the honey. Adding supers with foundation or comb will not help the bees to get used to the Flow Hive frames.
Looking at the photos and the video everything is being done correctly and not disturbing the bees un-nessisarily. Patience will reward you.

Thanks again @Peter48 and others for your support. We will wait for that… Hopefully results come up and will share as they are there
Aamir, Where did you get your flow hives? I haven’t been able to find them in Pakistan till now.
@Murad_khan you may order here https://www.honeyflow.com/
I ordered also from same and they are friendly people.
Dear All,
Here is progress so far.
Finally the bees are accepting the flow hive I believe.
Kindly share your views and looking forward for guidance.

Woo hoo, success! They are completing the plastic cells with wax, and there is definitely unripe honey in a lot of cells. Well done to you for your persistence and patience!
@Dawn_SD Thanks alot hopefully soon to share the complete story.
Bees will use the frames when they have run out of space to store the honey as I previously explained to you and your photos prove that. Congratulations to you and your bees.
When the Flow Frames are totally full and capped they are ready to be extracted but you will find the bees will straight away accept the Flow Frames then.

@Peter48 and all others thanks for encouragement we are patiently waiting. Hopefully results come up with great success.
Bees have done wonderful work and made it success.
On 26th May 2018 I found some of the Carissa Honey stored and sealed in four combs out of six flow hive frames. This year honey flow was very weak so the bees hardly manage to fill partially. Tomorrow inshallah we shall finally do the harvesting activity hopefully in the presence of PMAS AAUR officials.
However it is just beginning, today we had harvest and its showed our baby step to long journey ahead.
Thanks for all for your encouragement.

Aamir

All the Flow Frames look empty to me, or is it an optical illusion. Or is that the colour of your honey?
Normally we can see propolis, wax, honey, etc.
How much honey did you collect?
Excuse me it took long time to harvest and why would I do that. Anyways its Carissa Honey which was stored at end of season so could not get high amount of honey almost 1 and half kg was extracted and we are waiting for berry season for big harvest. The frames were empty mostly because of end of season and less flora. Also the color is so light. Also the propolis, wax and honey etc is except at end of summer (Its more than 40’ C temperature now) and no flora/nector present around. Waiting for monson/Autumn season. Hope this answers your query.
It does look like the frames are empty but look at the honey in the jar, it looks almost clear, amazingly light. Wish I could get my girls to find that sort of nectar with the same taste as I am getting at the moment. I would wet my … with excitement.
By “optical illusion”, I am saying maybe it’s the camera/photo, or I cannot see it correctly from where the photo was taken. Like when the cells in the Flow Frame don’t look aligned properly when really they are. This is the type of optical illusion I am referring to.
@Peter48 thanks for seconding and you are welcome… its really delicious here more photos for those who see illusion, the only purpose share was that it was success
Thanks alot i got it
