Glyphosate linked to altering bee's gut flora

An interesting paper has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that links
glyphosate herbicide (Roundup) to damaging the gut bacteria that live in bees. These bacteria are essential to bee health, and so the conclusion is that this may be a mechanism whereby bees colonies are
harmed by glyphosate, which otherwise is fairly non-toxic to animals.

That is not surprising except the false claim

Funny that stock farmers remove stock off a paddock that has been sprayed around the boundary fences, maybe the farmers know more than the chemical manufactures.

I have the feeling that if our immune systems are affected by our gut ecology, then the bees immune systems would be affected if their gut ecology is effected by poisons.
No wonder bees are getting all these diseases and can’t protect themselves efficiently.
