Honey Loss Question

That is very sad. If your trees and shrubs flower anything like ours in Oz, there will be a bumper flowering next year. That should cheer you up.

Depends on how you look at it. I like honey, but that is not the real reason that I keep bees. I am fascinated by them, and by what they can teach us about life. I love the way they pollinate our orange, lemon, tangerine, avocado and passion fruit plants. In fact, we may have to rebuild our pergola, as I can see about 200 passion fruit on it right now.

Selling honey gives me a little something back on our equipment investment, but I would still keep bees even without that. Besides, if we have no honey this year, I can charge double next year, no? :smile: :smiling_imp: :nerd_face:
