Middle flow frame

Do the bees tend to fill the flow frames starting from the middle frame?

That is generally how the bees work frames from the middle out but not always, I have even found a frame capped on one side and the other side only nectar. For that reason always remove a frame and check both sides are at least 80% capped before extracting. What you see in the window is only of a novelty value. It’s heart breaking to have honey ferment – unless your into drinking mead.
