Midwest winter keepers running Flow hives, deep/deep or deep/medium?

I am running two deeps and a Flow super. This is my third summer keeping. Harvested last fall. This summer odd season. Questioning whether running a deep and medium is a better option with a Flow super? I have successfully wintered 100% my hives every year. I have been struggling to Gey a harvest. First it was getting the bees to use the Flow super. I have overcome that issue. Now we are having an odd season in northern Iowa. I am questioning if it takes too long for bees to fill two deeps and then the Flow super? And if going to a a deep and medium might help.

With your climate, I would stick with 2 deeps. If they are not filling the super, it is probably just a poor nectar flow this year. Not much to do about that.
