Pollinator House…WHAT?!

So, I own a couple of Flow Hives as well as two Pollinator houses and today, I saw honey bees going inside and outside one of my Pollinator houses! WHAT are they doing there?!! Are they building a hive inside the roof, perhaps? It really seems too small to hold a hive. I guess I could open up the house to find out what they are doing, but I really don’t want to disturb them.

I would love to know what you all think or if you have experienced that same thing that I am experiencing. Please see my one photo and one video if you’re interested.

Warm regards,

Cameron

Hi Cameron, if the roof space is behind the panel and above the tubes, I’m guessing that the space might be large enough for a small colony of bees to occupy. There might be some secondary swarms about looking for a home. The bees might be scout bees from a swarm surveying all the likely places in the area to move into. They will vote on which one they like the best before moving into it.
