Cool! You will enjoy it. That part of the world is very unique. From the flora and fauna to the good 'ol boys. It is awesome. It is definitely an area worth visiting and spending some time. But get hooked up with local to guide you through the myriad of creeks and swamps and into the bay and gulf system. There are places where huge cypress trees died over a hundred year ago and all that is left is the circle of the trunk with a diameter of 5-6 feet and growing out of the middle is mature sabal palm tree.
Of course the movie doesn’t do it justice.
