after catching a swarm the bees seem to be settling onto the frames but have noticed a number of queen cells forming…?? what does this mean and what to do ??thanks col…
Is there a queen? Sometimes swarms supersede the queen and it sounds like this is happening. I just leave them to it, or if it’s a large swarm with cells on different frames and enough nurse bees to cover frames, you could split it, but only if it’s a biggie.

I have not seen a queen but am thinking she is there somewhere
it was a small swarm but they are building out the comb and seem to be happy in the new hive…I will leave then to it and see what happens…
