With all the wet weather we have been having its been hard to find a window to give the hives the once over. Well today I had some time and it had not rained for a few hours. The first two hives surprised me with lots of frames to harvest, the next two went feral and I was in a cloud of bees in full attack mode. Talk about stings! Even had to put on gloves.
Generally I would not open them in this weather but its been too long so it had to be done…
