Hello on this sunny, crisp January morning,
I am a new beekeeper going into my first winter season. My bees are thriving!! I had a small nuc transfer into the new flow end of April- early March ish. The colony struggld all summer. Through the heat, and wildfire smoke.
These girls are making honey!! I have harvested 3 flow frame since November. Two frames havested 12/24/20, today, all frame are full again. These girls are winter bees, hahaha. Thing luck to live in a place bees can find nectar and pollen all year.
