Hi all we are in tallai gold cost, have just had a swarm land in and old tree trunk, about 10m up, would like to move these guys on if someone wants to have a go, would have to climb the trunk as no way to get a picker in, happened about 3pm today

Yikes that sounds like a huge task, have the bees moved into a hollow in the tree? Or were they just perched there in a cluster planning their next destination?
If you were unable to get someone to collect the swarm it is likely to be gone now. But a hive relocation might not be possible without a picker. Maybe see if a local club has a contact you can call directly.
