We had swarm this morning, just as we were gearing up to split. Turned out to be a test run, so proceeded with split. We are pretty sure the queen is still undervthe hive with a bunch of her attendants.
Will they go back in tonight?

Maybe, probably, but there are probably queen cells in your main colony? Either way I’d put her in your split and let your main colony raise a new queen.
Thanks! We put queen cells in the split. So hoping for the best there. If they are still under in the morning, we will try to get at them. Very awkward place!
