The Flow Frame section was slightly out of position

We looked in the rear window yesterday afternoon and saw this little miss in the bottom trough of the Flow frame behind the cap.
The frames are in the process of their first waxing up and we’re not sure how she got in there.
It took some time to entice her out with a bit of honey and after drinking up her fill, she flew back around the front.

Next job on the first fine day is pull out the frame and check it for gaps.

So this morning there were a dozen bees in the trough. Time to go in.
Pulling the frame we found the very last section was not quite in place leaving a bee-sized hole. It took them about a month to find it.
Luckily it was relatively easy to fix by prizing the wire off the bottom, sliding the offending section back in place and replacing the wire, then using the big key to reach in and push it down into the correct closed position.
Picture shows the out-of-place section and the hole in the other side.
