Using Tung Oil on Cedar Hive

Hi All, I have just purchased our cedar wood flow 2 hive. Can anyone advise approximately how much Tung oil is needed to treat the hive please. I need to purchase some.

Hi Chris,

I believe a one litre can should be plenty.

I use this. It’s water based and has a Tung oil component. . I apply four coats.I have used a neutral TNT.
